Bay feedback welcome
Contact
Code Map exists so indie shops and DIY techs can paste DTCs and get a clear bay strategy — topology, ordered steps, and tools — without pretending to replace OEM service information. If something in a pack is wrong, thin, or missing for your make, we want to hear it.

What this site is for
Educational DTC strategy guides and an in-browser tool. Use it to plan diagnostics, teach apprentices a sequence, or cross-check your own approach. Do not treat packs as OEM procedures, TSBs, or wiring authority. Always verify against manufacturer information for the VIN before you torque, splice, or replace.
Feedback that helps bay techs
When you write, include as much as you can without sharing customer PII:
- Year / make / model / engine (no VIN required)
- Codes you pasted and what the tool returned
- What you would change: step order, missing test, wrong tool name, bad topology
- Whether you are shop, mobile, or DIY (optional — helps prioritize packs)
Pack requests are welcome (for example “need a solid U0100 + low-voltage fork” or “P0420 after cat replace still returns”). Privacy or AdSense questions: same inbox, subject “Code Map privacy” — see also our Privacy Policy.
Advertising on this site
getcodemap.com uses Google AdSense (publisher ID pub-3123547221968378) to help keep the DTC tool free. Ads are labeled and follow Google’s policies. If you believe an ad is inappropriate for a shop floor audience, email the URL of the page and a screenshot description — we will report bad creatives through AdSense where we can.
Other Code Map links
Start here: Home · DTC tool · About · Privacy Policy · ads.txt (authorized sellers). For Sinister Speed Shop apparel and wraps, that is a separate brand property — use this inbox with “SSS” in the subject if you need that side routed correctly.
Safety first
Nothing in an email reply from us overrides shop safety rules, OEM lockout/tagout, high-voltage EV procedures, or airbag service precautions. If a vehicle is unsafe to drive, do not wait on our inbox — follow your shop’s process and manufacturer guidance.
Response time
This is a small publisher operation. We read every message; replies may take a few business days. Emergency vehicle safety issues belong with a qualified shop and OEM procedures — not email turnaround.
